Diana Guzman of the Bronx was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 3, for attempting to bring 18.3 grams of synthetic marijuana, and 85 sublingual suboxone strips into Fishkill Correctional Facility, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
The drugs were hidden in black balloons on Guzman’s person, said Hicks.
She was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts introducing dangerous contraband into a prison.
Guzman was arraigned before the town of Fishkill Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
